Paulding Enterprises Governing Body
Paulding Enterprises Inc., established in 1973, is incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia as a private, non-profit tax exempted corporation. Paulding Enterprises contracts with the Georgia Department of Human Resources (DHR), division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Addictive Diseases (MH/DD/AD), to adult residents of Paulding County with a primary diagnosis of Mental Retardation/ Developmental Disability.
The governing body of Paulding Enterprises Inc. is the Board of Directors who delegates the responsibility for administration and day to day operations to the Executive Director of the agency. The Board of Directors meets bi-monthly to review the agency finances, provide the leadership and direction for the organization.
Paulding Enterprises, Inc. operates under the regulations and contract of the DHR division of MH/DD/AD. Paulding Enterprises is accredited by a national accreditation organization, CARF. The accreditation firm surveys the organization every three years for compliance with their regulations as well as other state and federal regulations that are required for operation.
